Policy plan
The policy plan derives from the Dual-Jurisdiction nature, reflecting that Deaonnim Charities LBG is a Ghanaian Non-Profit Organisation with a Dutch branch. The Dual-Jurisdiction Policy Plan establishes a unified governance and operational framework for the organisation, ensuring compliance with Ghanaian and Dutch legal requirements and a division of responsibilities between building and boosting basic schools in Ghana and fundraising and support in the Netherlands. The plan can be found here.

Activities
From the very day that it was established on December 8th 2025, Deaonnim Charities LBG started to design and build its first basic school, a six classroom primary school block in Dunkwa-on-Offin, a town located some 320 kilometres North-West from Accra. Preparations were made early December 2025 in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service and local authorities; the chief assigned a building plot for the school.

The works started in January 2026 based on initial U-shaped drawings from Ghanaian architects and the corresponding bill of quantities with detailed costs, while incorporating ideas from Dutch architects to make the school a landmark building. Notably, the gable roof has been replaced by a sloping roof from the inside out and the inner gallery extends to the two front facades.

Balance sheet, income and expenses
Deaonnim Charities LBG has received an initial gift of €40,000 in December 2025, and another €40,000 in February 2026. A contractor was found who is currently building the school in phases in accordance to the drawings and the bill of quantities, with a separate contract and an evaluation at the completion of each phase.

The contractor sends videos on a daily basis and the progress is impressive. The videos in chronological order show how the bare land is transformed to a build-up area with the U-shaped six classroom primary school block.
